The 1-2-3 Formula: How We Execute Your Wholesale Option

When TechTrust takes on a transaction under the Wholesale Option, three things happen. The order matters, because each step removes a different cost and together they produce the outcome.

Step one: replace the embedded sales costs with a transparent fee. Traditional resellers bundle their compensation with provider incentives and present you with a single number. Our fee replaces that bundle. Seven percent of the transaction, disclosed up front, with no hidden layers. Every dollar you were previously paying for tier-driven reseller margin, deal registration bonuses, MDF allocations, and rebates is now either returned to you or never inserted into the price in the first place. The sales cost on your deal is legible for the first time, and it is materially smaller.

Step two: secure the best published buy price. Cutting the sales cost layer is only half the job. The other half is making sure the underlying technology price is also optimized. Most providers run tiered partner programs, and the deepest discounts are available only to partners at the highest tiers. We hold those tier positions across the providers we work with, which means the price we pay the provider is already at the floor of what the published system allows. We combine that with deal registration where appropriate, so the stacked discount you would have received through a traditional reseller is instead captured by us and passed on to you. This is pricing only available from inside the channel. You cannot access it buying direct, and most smaller resellers do not qualify for the top tiers that unlock it.

Step three: empower the negotiation beyond the published floor. Even the best published price is not always the final price. Some providers negotiate below their own floor under the right circumstances, and the right circumstances depend on the specific provider, the specific product, the deal size, the timing, and who is authorized to approve exceptions.
